Process

How we make your video, step by step

Five steps, the same for every project. At each one you know what's happening, what we need from you, and what you'll have at the end of it.

    We understand your idea

    Everything starts with a conversation about the video's job. What should people understand, feel or do after watching? Who are they, and where will they see it: an ad, a reel, your website or an app store? We also ask about anything that's fixed, like a launch date, a product photo or a line that has to appear.

    What we need from you
    Your idea and goal, your audience, where the video will be published, your logo and brand colours, and any examples you like.
    What you get
    An agreed direction: the goal, the audience, the platforms and the sizes.

  2. 00:06Step 2

    Script & style

    We write the script: what is said or shown, scene by scene, in the order that makes the message clear. Then we choose the look: colours, type, the style of drawing and the rhythm of the motion, based on your brand. You see both before anything is animated, and we refine them with you until they're right.

    What we need from you
    Your thoughts on the script and the style, and your go-ahead to move on.
    What you get
    An approved script, and a style frame or storyboard that shows how the video will look.

    Design & animate

    We design every scene in the agreed style and bring it to life. The motion is timed to the voice-over or the music, so each idea appears exactly when it's needed. This is the longest step, and the one where the video takes shape.

    What we need from you
    Any files still missing, like product photos, app screens, or the final voice-over if you're providing it.
    What you get
    A first complete version of the video, ready to review.

    Review together

    We show you the video and collect your notes in one place, each with the moment in the video it refers to. Then we refine it. The number of review rounds is set in the project agreement, so you know in advance how reviews will work.

    Your notes in one message, from everyone who needs to approve the video.
    What you get
    The refined video, and your final approval.

  5. 00:24Step 5

    Delivery

    Once you approve, we export the final video in the sizes and formats agreed at the start, ready to upload to each platform.

How reviews work

Reviews happen where a change is easiest. The script and the style are agreed before animation, and the animated video is reviewed before delivery. That way the big decisions are made early, and the last rounds are about details.

Notes work best collected in one message, each with the moment in the video it refers to. The number of revision rounds is set in the project agreement before work starts.
