FAQ

Questions about motion graphics videos

What people usually ask before starting a video with us, grouped by topic. If your question isn't here, add it to your project description.

Getting started

What do you need from me to start?

An idea of your project, the message you want to get across, and where the video will be published. If you have a logo, brand colours or examples you like, send them along.

How do we decide how the video looks?

Once we understand your idea, we propose a script and a style and agree on them with you before design and animation begin.

Can we start from an idea that isn't fully clear yet?

Yes, many projects start that way. The first step is a conversation to understand the goal, and the script comes out of it.

What kinds of video do you make?

Motion graphics, video ads, social reels and explainer videos, all made with designed animation rather than filming. Each one has its own page with the details.

Cost and timing

How are cost and timing decided?

By the video's length, level of detail and the date you need it. Tell us about your project so we can work them out.

Can you work to a deadline?

Tell us the date you need the video by when you describe your project. We'll tell you honestly whether it's possible for what you need, before anything starts.

Why isn't there a price list?

Because two videos of the same length can need very different work. The cost depends on the length, the style, the versions and the timing, so we quote each project once we understand it.

Reviews and delivery

How do reviews and changes work?

We share the work at the review stage, take your notes and refine it. The number of revision rounds is set in the project agreement.

Who should give notes on the video?

Everyone who needs to approve it. Notes work best collected in one message, each with the moment in the video it refers to.

What do I receive at the end?

The final video files, in the sizes and formats agreed at the start, ready to upload.

Sizes and formats

Can you deliver in different sizes?

Yes, depending on where you'll publish — vertical for Reels or horizontal for YouTube, for example. Final formats are agreed at the start of the project.

Can one video be adapted for several platforms?

Usually, yes. We plan the frame so words and logos stay visible on each platform, or prepare a separate version where it's needed.

Will the video make sense without sound?

Social videos are designed so the key words appear on screen, because they're often watched with the sound off.

Questions by service

Motion graphics

What's the difference between motion graphics and a filmed video?

A filmed video records real people and places. Motion graphics is designed and animated, so it can show ideas, steps and screens that a camera can't. Some projects mix the two; we'll tell you which fits your message.

Do I need a script before we start?

No. Tell us what you want people to understand and do. We write the script with you, and you approve it before design starts.

Can the video use my brand colours and logo?

Yes. Send your logo, colours and fonts, or any brand guide you have, and every scene is designed with them.

Does the video have a voice-over?

That's agreed at the start: a voice-over, music only, or words on screen, depending on where it will be watched. Social videos are often watched with the sound off, so the key words usually appear on screen too.

How long should a motion graphics video be?

As long as the message needs, and no longer. A social ad is usually short, while an explainer for your website can take longer. We suggest a length once we know where it will be shown.

How is the cost decided?

By the length, the level of detail and style, the number of versions and sizes, and when you need it. Tell us about your project and we'll come back with a clear quote.

Video ads

What do you need from me for a product ad?

Clear photos or design files of the product, your logo and colours, and the one thing you want people to know or do. If you have examples of ads you like, send them too.

Do I need a photo shoot?

Not necessarily. Many product ads can be built from good product photos or packaging files. If the photos won't work, we'll tell you what's needed before we start.

How long is a video ad?

Usually short, because an ad has seconds to work. We agree the length based on the platform and the message, and a shorter cut can come from the same ad.

Can I get different versions to test?

Yes. Different openings, lines or sizes can be agreed at the start, so you can see which one works better.

Will the ad work without sound?

It's designed to. The key words appear on screen, so the message lands with the sound off, and music or a voice-over adds to it when the sound is on.

How is the cost decided?

By the length, how detailed the scenes are, how many versions and sizes you need, and when you need them. Tell us about the product and the campaign and we'll quote it clearly.

Social reels

What's the right size for Reels and TikTok?

Both are vertical, full-screen videos. We prepare the size and the safe area for each platform you'll post on, and check them against the platform's current guidance before delivery.

Can one video work on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts?

Usually, with small changes. Each platform places its buttons and captions differently, so we keep words and logos where they stay visible, or prepare a version for each.

Do you come up with the ideas for the reels?

We can. Tell us your goals and your audience, and we suggest ideas and scripts with you, or we work from ideas you already have.

Can you make a series of reels?

Yes. A series shares one style and structure, so your page looks consistent. How many reels, and how they are delivered, is agreed at the start.

Will the reels make sense without sound?

They're designed to. The key words appear on screen, so people get the reel with the sound off.

How is the cost decided?

By how many reels you need, their length, the level of detail and the timing. Tell us about your page and your plans and we'll quote it clearly.

Explainer videos

What's the difference between an explainer video and an ad?

An ad has seconds to get attention and carry one message. An explainer has a little more time to show how something works, step by step. Many brands use both: the ad brings people in, and the explainer answers their questions.

Should I use screen recordings of my app?

Real screens help, but raw recordings are often hard to follow. We usually redraw the key screens as clean motion, so attention goes to the steps that matter.

How long should an explainer video be?

Long enough to explain, and short enough to keep attention. A store page, a website and an ad each need a different length; we suggest one based on where the video will be shown.

What do you need from me?

Access to your app or a walk-through of your service, your logo and brand colours, and the questions your customers ask most. We turn those into the script.

Can the video be in Arabic and English?

Yes. The script and the words on screen can be prepared in both, and we agree at the start how many language versions you need.

How is the cost decided?

By the length, how many screens or steps it shows, the voice-over, the number of versions, and the timing. Tell us about your product and we'll quote it clearly.
